Guidelines

As a passionate Tesla owner, I encourage you to take full advantage of what the car has to offer but also be mindful of the car’s capabilities. The Tesla Model 3 is still a car and is by no means perfect; please treat the car with respect and with care. Some standard guidelines: - No smoking or vaping in the car - No pets. - Be careful with drinks and food, I want to keep it fresh for everyone and myself. - Most importantly, stay safe and enjoy your experience! - When using Autopilot, please be very cautious on city streets and on highways. Tesla does continuous updates on their cars and sometimes they change specific features of the car that may allow it to perform differently. A recent occurrence happened on the Veterans Expressway, the car came in too close to the cones dividing the HOV lane and rest of traffic and ended up puncturing the tire with a 3-inch bolt! PLEASE BE ALERT AND AWARE! - Whenever you parked somewhere please keep Sentry Mode activated. Sentry Mode is the car’s security system where the car records a 360 view of every action around the car. If something happens to the car while you are away such as vandalism or a hit and run, Sentry Mode will protect you! - When charging the car, do not charge above the 90% limit. We have set the limit on the car to charge at a maximum of 90% due to Tesla's recommendation of reducing battery decay. We want to keep renting our Tesla Model 3 and optimize the car's battery life for all of our renters. If there is a circumstance such as a long road trip where you may need to charge to 100% please contact us immediately. - Whether you are a current Tesla owner or 1st time Tesla driver, please watch our briefing video going over the basics of the car. The video is to ensure your knowledge on operating the Model 3, as operating the Model 3 is different from a traditional car. The video also goes over what is expected to properly take care of the vehicle throughout your rental (ex: closing the frunk). The link is provided via text and in our car guide. Starting your rental: At the start of your rental, Connor and I will communicate with you via Turo messaging or text. We will provide you with basic instructions on how to operate the car and the Tesla App credentials. We advise you to please watch the videos even if you are a Tesla owner or have driven a Tesla before, as every Tesla works differently! Prior to your arrival we will coordinate the location of the car and address any other concerns for a seamless pick up. Ending your rental: After an enjoyable beach vacation or a hard working business trip the only thing you are thinking about is going home. At the end of every rental we will take care of all the clean up! We have a trusted car wash we attend to clean the car, so please do not try to take the car anywhere else to wash; The only thing we advise is to not leave large pieces of garbage that may start to smell. Upon drop off please do not feel the need to top off the car with charge, the minimum charge level we ask for is 15% (35 miles) so the car can charge at home. Charging at any Supercharger to top off is unnecessary as it costs more for us so please be mindful. If there were any concerns, we did not address before or during your rental we did not address please let us know! We want to keep renting out our Model 3 on Turo for years to come!     Yes, we have a local car wash we attend before and after your rental. We personally detail and disinfect the interior and exterior of the car. We strictly follow Turo's new guidelines on how to properly clean and disinfect your rental vehicle. On top of this we include complimentary hand sanitizer for your convenience.   • How/where can I charge your Tesla Model 3?

    Tesla has a network of Superchargers all across the United States and Florida. Tampa has one Supercharger in Hyde park and . Although we encourage you to use Superchargers throughout your rental (Especially if you plan on going to Orlando or the east coast), we strongly encourage you to use destination and Chargepoint chargers for shorter trips and longer stops. The car has a charging cable located in the Frunk (front trunk), as well as Adapters for a 110v (standard wall plug) outlet, 220v (Dryer plug) outlet and a NMEA 14-50 Adapter that you can use to plug in a charge where you are staying to keep you range up and ready for adventure.

Absolutely fantastic experience with James and Connor! Seamless pickup and drop off at the Tampa Airport and very responsive with any questions about the car. This was my first time driving a Tesla and they made it as easy and fun as can be! Would definitely recommend them for a unique rental option!
